Referred to as a "renaissance man" more than a few times, I've had the good fortune to have made careers out of "hobbies" many people have said they would have paid good money to do. I enjoyed a brief career in acting for film, video and television (nothing you've seen, I'm sure...) and even done a bit of voice-over.
Currently, in addition to exploring the D/FW Metroplex in search of unique images, I freelance for Star Newspapers and Frisco Image magazine, in addition to shooting projects for the City of Frisco.
Early in my life I discovered Architectural photography and it remains one of my favorite things to do, Coupled with this is Construction photography, as I grew up on construction sites and have foremaned more than one project in my time. As I continue to shoot Sports I become better at it and would now consider myself to be a passable Sports photographer, published almost weekly in one of the Star newspapers. As a fairly new Fashion photographer (started in 2007) I have finally defined my style and produce better results with each shoot.

Magic – that’s what I hope you will see in my photography.
Through my photography I try to convey my unique perception of the world.
My observation is that most people are too busy with their daily lives
to
notice the small, magical moments
that occur everywhere every day.
Ice storms, snowstorms in the middle
of the night, a bird perched on a tombstone,
fog-shrouded construction workers.
These are all events that render
the mundane -- magical.
Being in that place, at that time – and recognizing it is the trick.
I strive to ‘freeze’ these moments in time
and capture that unique event when,
for this single point in time, the
small part of the universe where I am standing
is displayed in a manner that may never come again.
Time-Exposure
photography – in the middle of the night --
remains my favorite
method of expression.
It’s that time when the absence of daylight – and the presence
of artificial illumination
brings a new perspective to
everyday shapes.
The two biggest thrills for me are when I’ve taken that ‘right’
photograph – and I know it.
And when someone sees the final result and ‘gets’ it.
I hope my work moves you to look at your surroundings with new eyes.
