Ice Storm, Frisco, Texas - January 2007 I found this barbed wire spool left atop a fence post on El Dorado road in the first ice storm of the season. In getting this picture I managed to thoroughly cake the bottom of my boots with our tenacious North Texas "gumbo" (that's the clay-based soil we have in this part of the world) and, subsequently, create a detailing project for my truck -- but I still think the picture was worth it.
