From the 1960s through 1992 I spent my life immersed in the music business. 1965, '66 and '67 found me just outside San Francisco in Marin County - just 15 minutes from the West Coast Mecca of the Psychedelic Music Scene. I was fortunate enough to meet and befriend many of the rising stars of this movement and continued my frienships with many of these artists for decades. Relocating to Los Angeles in 1970, I worked for Motown Records as a Technical Engineer until I was hired away by Sly Stone in 1975 and moved my family back to Marin County. As an adjunct to my career as a Recording Engineer I supplemented my income as a Rock n Roll Photographer for several years, shooting pictures during the day and spending my nights in the darkroom.
